I used to be quite contented with a cup of tea and a spider for company before I became connected to the other sort of web.

Lucky you ! I'm still stuck with the spiders. What are smart phones like, because my hubby has one and it's really really really slow !
I'm besotted with mine! I spend half my time at the allotment checking facebook. My younger boy is away gap-year travelling and this phone means I get any updates from him immediately. It's brilliant. Eats batteries though.
